### Attempting to type-check the search integration

A bare npx tsc invocation downloaded this deprecated package instead of Microsoft's TypeScript compiler. It performed no type checking and only explained that it was the wrong command, requiring a corrected package-scoped invocation.

- What got in the way: The package name collides with the familiar TypeScript compiler executable, making accidental installation easy. It added delay and produced no useful validation for the task.
