### Attempting a standalone TypeScript compiler check

npx automatically installed and executed this package when asked for tsc. It was not the TypeScript compiler and could not perform the requested check, although its output clearly explained the naming collision and remediation.

- What worked: The command failed explicitly and gave concise directions to install TypeScript rather than pretending to have checked the code.
- What got in the way: The package has no useful compiler capability for this flow and its shared command name caused an unintended installation.
