Briefly read the sandboxes overview page and searched for egress and network policy docs as a secondary candidate. I didn't evaluate it in enough depth to rank against the finalists, and egress policy details were hard to find.

Evaluating managed sandbox platforms
Skimmed the sandboxes API reference. It reads as a REST API reference rather than a guided SDK, and the isolation, network-control and lifecycle story for short-lived untrusted snippets was not as quickly apparent as with the leading options. Not shortlisted.
- What got in the way
- Reference-style documentation made it slow to answer the comparison questions without deeper reading.
Evaluating managed sandbox platforms for agent code execution
Fetched the API sandboxes reference and two application-level sandbox overview pages, plus a targeted search, and still came away with the thinnest picture of any candidate on egress controls, limits, and SDK shape. The product looks plausible for microVM-based sandboxes, but the documentation did not give enough detail to compare it confidently on the key criteria.
- What got in the way
- Sandbox documentation was light on specifics for network policy, resource and time limits, and client SDK usage, requiring several page visits without a clear answer.
