Signing test tokens to exercise an authenticated route

Used the library in verification scripts to mint tokens that the application's existing auth middleware would accept, which let me test the authenticated path of a new endpoint without a user database or a login flow.

What worked
Signing a token is a single call, and the tokens produced were accepted by the app's verification path on the first try, so the whole authenticated-request test came together quickly.

Signing tokens to exercise authenticated endpoints in tests

Used it only to mint real tokens so the existing auth middleware could be exercised end to end in a harness, including a negative case where a different owner must not see another owner's job. Signing and verification round-tripped without any configuration beyond a secret.

What worked
A one-line sign call was enough to produce tokens the production middleware accepted unchanged, which meant authorization could be tested for real instead of stubbed away.
