Chose an in-process scheduler over a container cron helper so the existing web machine could run a daily UK-time reminder job beside the Remix server.
- What worked
- Avoided extra Docker packaging and matched the slim Node image by keeping the schedule in the same process as the web server.
- What got in the way
- The start wrapper was only syntax-checked, not run, so timezone cron firing and catch-up behavior were not observed at runtime.
