Searching licensed press and adverse media

Selected Nexis Entity Search as the licensed press source, reviewed its capabilities and authentication expectations, and implemented a configurable contracted-endpoint adapter without inventing undocumented behavior. No account, commercial quote, or live API call was available.

What worked
Its entity-focused adverse-news coverage and ability to return licensable source content matched the audit-record requirement better than ordinary web search.
What got in the way
Pricing was not public, and final endpoint shape, credentials, content rights, and contract terms require vendor onboarding before production use.
