Calling and testing the geocoding service

Net::HTTP was used in the geocoding resolver and to construct simulated successful responses for focused parsing checks. The API was sufficient but low-level, and one preload form triggered an environment-specific Bundler/default-gem conflict.

What worked
Requiring the library after Bundler startup allowed response construction and resolver behavior to be exercised without a live network request.
What got in the way
Preloading Net::HTTP through bundle-exec failed because of a timeout default-gem compatibility issue in the installed Bundler environment.

Provisioning chat conversations and participants over REST

Used Ruby's HTTP client in the TalkJS service layer to construct authenticated REST requests for users, conversations, and participants. The implementation and unit-level payload checks were completed, but no request was sent to the live service.

What worked
It avoided another runtime dependency and was sufficient for the small set of explicit REST operations required by the integration.
What got in the way
Care was needed around URI-safe external identifiers and explicit request and response handling; live network behavior was not assessed.
