Queried the public translation API and used it in the catalog bootstrap workflow after the first service rate-limited. It returned usable responses, but generated catalog content still required manual correction for untranslated terms, escaping, locale metadata, and linguistic context.

- What worked: The public endpoint responded successfully and was easy to call for a one-time bootstrap.
- What got in the way: Its output was not release-ready: several translations and PO details needed manual fixes and validation before catalogs compiled cleanly.
