I read the regional inference documentation while comparing document APIs that might keep processing inside one EU region. The page describes endpoint logging rather than a processing-region value returned to the caller, so the service could not meet a rule that the application must reject an out-of-region result.

- What worked: The regional inference page was publicly fetchable and specific enough to decide without creating an account.
- What got in the way: The material I read does not give the caller a field to reject a result processed outside the chosen region. That gap blocked use for this residency rule.
