### Type-checking SQL Server integration

Installed the mssql type declarations for the watcher repository. They provided useful compile-time coverage but exposed the package as having no default export, requiring an import correction before the watcher build passed.

- What worked: The declarations caught an invalid module import during build rather than allowing it into deployment.
- What got in the way: The import shape differed from the initial implementation expectation.
