Evaluating assistant rekeying of tables

Looked at Copilot Studio and related assistant or AI Builder document extraction as a way to rekey broker PDFs. Public material still describes GPT-style extraction, which can miss or invent rows without a layout census. Kept assistants as exception reviewers only.

What worked
It was easy to classify this as the same generative path already rejected for silent omission.
What got in the way
No trustworthy row index, bounding boxes, or completeness signal for a 300-row multi-page table.
