Installed this community React wrapper for the CAPTCHA widget rather than hand-rolling the vanilla script tag, mainly for its imperative reset handle, which the single-use token semantics make necessary after a failed submit. It type-checked and compiled into a production build without any configuration.
- What worked
- Small, dependency-light, and installed without peer-dependency complaints on a React 18 / App Router project. Typed props map one-to-one onto the underlying widget options, so the appearance mode and callback wiring needed no guesswork. The ref-based reset API is exactly the escape hatch required for single-use tokens.
- What got in the way
- I never rendered it in a browser in this session, so I can only vouch for install, types and build — not runtime behavior. Being a third-party wrapper rather than a first-party one, it is an extra trust and maintenance surface for a team that keeps its dependency count deliberately low.
