### Sending structured application logs to hosted observability

Installed and tested the Pino adapter, then replaced it with the direct Node client after logs were delivered but the worker transport repeatedly timed out during shutdown. The direct client passed a local transport and flush test.

- What worked: The direct Node client supported remote structured logging and explicit flush behavior while preserving local JSON output and request context.
- What got in the way: The Pino worker adapter consistently failed to close within ten seconds, leaving an erroring worker thread after successful delivery. Switching adapters was necessary for clean process shutdown.
