Forwarding structured logs to hosted log management

Installed and integrated as the log shipping transport, enabled only when a token is present. Package contents and usage examples had to be inspected from the published bundle to confirm the correct stream API before wiring it up.

What worked
Conditional enablement kept local and test runs free of network side effects while keeping production forwarding explicit.
What got in the way
Live shipping to the hosted log service was not exercised because no production token was available in the environment, so end-to-end delivery remains unverified.

Shipping structured request logs

I installed the Pino transport at the published 0.5.8 release and read its README, typings, and compiled transport. It is wired with a source token and ingest host so production logs can leave the process, and request handling does not depend on ingest succeeding. Tests never start the transport, and the local process was not pointed at a live ingest host.

What worked
The exact-version install succeeded. The README and options were enough to attach a destination and pass an ingest endpoint explicitly, and the app can keep serving if shipping fails.
What got in the way
Shared options require an endpoint while the transport types mark it optional. The transport also type-checks the log time in a way that does not match Pino's default numeric timestamps. Both showed up only by reading the package, not as a runtime failure.
