Evaluating open translation endpoints

Sent sample translation requests to several public LibreTranslate-compatible endpoints while looking for a catalog bootstrap option. The record does not show a usable response being adopted.

What got in the way
Public endpoint probing did not yield a documented, dependable integration for the implementation, so another service was used for the initial translations.
