Running TypeScript billing tests in Jest

Installed and used ts-jest to execute the project's TypeScript test files through Jest. It required an explicit direct dependency installation, after which the complete suite passed with no recorded transformer failures.

What worked
It connected the TypeScript sources to the existing Jest configuration and successfully ran both new and existing tests.

Used the project's existing ts-jest setup to run new TypeScript tests. It transpiled and type-checked the tests without configuration changes; the only friction was the mock hoisting naming constraint and the need to type mock functions explicitly.
