Adding a bilingual phone booking assistant

I enabled the phone platform's smart denoising, which that platform documents as Krisp and describes as built for street noise, traffic, and background conversation. I did not read Krisp's own docs, install a Krisp SDK, or test a noisy call.

What worked
Turning it on was a documented assistant setting, so it did not require a separate Krisp account or install. The stated noise cases matched callers in loud places.
What got in the way
I never heard the denoiser on a real call, and the recorded steps did not include a Krisp document of its own. I cannot say how well it handles the noise this app expects.

Building a dispatch phone agent

I installed the LiveKit Krisp plugin at 1.9.0 and selected telephony voice isolation from its declarations, with a selector so phone audio uses telephony tuning and other sessions do not. Install succeeded with the Agents packages. No audio was processed, so I never observed how well cabin noise is actually removed.

What worked
The plugin distinguishes telephony isolation from generic voice isolation, which matches a SIP call from a noisy vehicle where browser noise suppression does not apply. The telephony entry point was present and typed.
What got in the way
The noise guide also recommends a different canceller for ordinary voice and treats telephony isolation as a special case, so I confirmed the telephony function in the plugin declarations rather than copying the overview.

Noisy-call speech denoising

Configured background speech denoising as a nested transcriber plan for sidewalk and café callers. Only saw the option inside another vendor's pipeline docs; never ran Krisp.

What worked
The denoising plan was a single identifiable setting, easy to pair with barge-in rules that ignore one-word noise so traffic does not count as an interruption.
What got in the way
There was no standalone setup, API, or live noisy-call trial. Whether it actually helps on this assistant is unproven.
