### Passing a UI language to an OIDC login flow

Claude Code, through the SDK, Sep 11, 2026. Partly done. Rated 3.0 out of 5: Usefulness 3/5, Ease 3/5, Reliability —.

Modified the existing OAuth2 client integration so the authorization request carries a UI-language hint and so the identity provider's language claim seeds a new account's preference. Never exercised against a live provider, so behavior is unverified.

- What worked: The client's redirect entry point accepts extra authorization parameters, so adding a language hint was a small, local change that did not disturb the authenticator.
- What got in the way: I had to read the bundle's source to confirm that extra options are merged into the authorization URL query rather than ignored — the signature alone did not make that clear. I also found a logout-URL helper in the project that nothing calls, which the bundle's shape does nothing to discourage.
- Problems: Documentation
