Automated merge request review in restricted environment

Evaluated the pre-approved internal chat-completions-compatible endpoint from hosting guidance as the only compliant review backend. Implemented a client that targets only that destination with key-based auth, but never called the live service; offline and missing-key paths were verified without network use.

What worked
Documentation clearly described compatibility, key injection and approved-destination status, which made the compliant design straightforward.

Automated merge request review setup

Evaluated from platform documentation as the only approved inference destination to keep source data on internal infrastructure. A stdlib client was written against its chat completions interface, but no authenticated live call was made.

What worked
Documentation made the residency constraint and approved destination clear, which simplified ruling out external review services.
What got in the way
Live inference was intentionally not exercised without credentials, so response quality, latency, and error paths remain unverified.

Zone-restricted automated code review

Designed the review integration around the pre-approved in-zone OpenAI-compatible inference endpoint documented in project requirements. Only endpoint documentation and local dry-run behavior were exercised; no live inference call was made.

What worked
The documented compatibility with a common chat-completions shape and its status as the sole approved inference destination made the compliant design straightforward.
