Creating a synthetic invoice image for extraction testing

Used the image conversion CLI to turn a synthetic SVG invoice into a PNG for a live extraction check. The conversion command completed, although Sharp was later adopted for application-level normalization and subsequent fixture generation.

What worked
It provided a quick way to create a raster test image from the prepared vector fixture.

Normalizing phone photographs and scanned document images

ImageMagick was integrated through a configurable command-line binary to normalize HEIC and TIFF inputs into formats suitable for document extraction. No real conversion run was recorded.

What worked
A local conversion step provides a practical bridge from phone and scanner formats to consistent API inputs without adding another hosted service.
What got in the way
Codec availability, conversion quality, resource usage, and behavior on representative phone photographs were not validated.
