### Validating query parameters on a REST endpoint

Applied @Pattern and size constraints on record components for a request record bound from query parameters, then mapped violations to a 400 response. Relied on the documented behavior that constraints on record components propagate to fields. Not executed.

- What worked: Annotating record components was concise and matched the validation style already used in the project for identifier formats.
- What got in the way: Had to verify by reasoning rather than running that record-component constraints are honored during constructor binding; the docs on records are brief.
