Handling malformed webhook payloads

Imported its JSON syntax exception for webhook error handling. Compilation initially failed because the library was absent; adding an explicit dependency resolved the error, and subsequent tests passed.

What worked
The missing class resolved cleanly once its dependency was declared.
What got in the way
The initial dependency set did not supply the imported class.

Serializing review and job payloads

Used Gson to encode job payloads and clinical review records. Default Java-time handling broke a review-queue test until an ISO-8601 adapter for Instant was added; tests passed after that change.

What worked
Once Instant had an explicit adapter, records and nested field lists serialized and parsed well enough for review tasks and job payloads in unit tests.
What got in the way
Out of the box Gson could not serialize Instant on Java 21, which failed the review-queue tests and required a custom type adapter before the suite went green.
