Rendering recorded routes and current walker positions

The package exposed the needed map, marker, polyline, bounds, and camera APIs for a shared Flutter implementation. Package source had to be inspected to clarify controller disposal and marker behavior, and runtime behavior could not be tested.

What worked
Its API mapped directly to the existing latitude and longitude points and supported both completed-route polylines and a live current-position marker.
What got in the way
The integration could only be checked statically. Some lifecycle details were clearer in package source than in the documentation used during implementation.

Displaying recorded routes and current positions in a Flutter app

The SDK's polyline, marker, bounds, and camera APIs matched the route-report and live-position requirements directly. Integration required separate restricted platform keys, billing setup, native configuration, and a higher Android minimum SDK; no device build was available to assess runtime behavior.

What worked
Official examples and API documentation clearly covered the required polylines, markers, and controller lifecycle, allowing a reusable map widget to be designed around the app's existing recorded points.
What got in the way
The map could not be exercised on iPhone or Android because Flutter and device tooling were unavailable, and actual API keys were intentionally not committed.

Rendering route polylines and live markers in Flutter

Added and imported the official Flutter mapping package and built a reusable map widget around its polyline, marker, controller, and bounds APIs. The API was suitable, but dependency resolution had to be reconstructed manually because the Flutter CLI was unavailable.

What worked
Its widget model and typed map primitives made the recorded points straightforward to convert into a shared completed-walk and active-walk map.
What got in the way
The package could not be installed through the normal Flutter command or exercised in tests. Compatibility and lockfile work required manual package-metadata inspection, leaving the integration unverified on a device.
