### Defining Google Cloud observability resources

Used the Terraform provider to define a log-based metric, email notification channel, and monitoring alert policy. Provider-backed validation succeeded, but the resources were not applied to a live project because no production notification address was supplied.

- What worked: The resource model allowed the notification channel to be created and directly referenced by the policy, keeping the destination mandatory and configuration-driven.
