### Instrumenting an ecommerce conversion funnel

Integrated the standard ecommerce event model for product views, cart additions, cart views, and checkout starts, plus page views and a custom checkout-failure event. The event vocabulary fit the requested funnel well, while live delivery was not tested because no measurement ID or live account was used.

- What worked: The standard ecommerce events mapped cleanly to the requested funnel, and configuration could remain optional so local builds continued to work without an analytics identifier.
- What got in the way: No live GA4 property was exercised, so ingestion, reporting, and production reliability were not observed.
