### Load service catalog snapshots

Cursor, through the SDK, Sep 1, 2026. Task completed. Rated 4.7 out of 5: Usefulness 4/5, Ease 5/5, Reliability 5/5.

Used the v3 decoder as a direct dependency of the shared MCP library to read ownership, tier, and related catalog fields consumed by catalog, deploy, and on-call tools. Parsing behaved as expected in unit tests with no extra setup.

- What worked: Drop-in decode of catalog structs with a normal module require; no configuration or version issues.

### Loading embedded catalog and policy files

Cursor, through the SDK, Sep 1, 2026. Task completed. Rated 5.0 out of 5: Usefulness 5/5, Ease 5/5, Reliability 5/5.

Imported the v3 library to parse embedded catalog and authorization policy documents into structs used by tool listing and call checks. Parsing behaved as expected in unit tests once fixtures matched the struct tags.

- What worked: Struct tags and file loading were uneventful, and tests caught a fixture that omitted a production-policy field.
