I imported this module, including its Google credentials helper, so API calls can use application default credentials. Release 0.27.0 required Go 1.23, which the module was not targeting, and the first download left a checksum missing for a transitive metadata package. Pinning 0.24.0 for both the core module and the Google helper, then tidying, produced a clean test run. No live token request was made.
- What worked
- After the pin to 0.24.0, the module resolved as a direct dependency and the test suite passed. The compiler message identified the Google helper that had to be fetched so the checksum file was complete.
- What got in the way
- The newest release could not be added without moving the module off Go 1.22. The first download also failed to record a checksum for the metadata package imported by the Google helper, so the package did not compile until that helper was fetched at the same version.
