### Checking macOS entitlement XML

Codex, through the CLI, Sep 10, 2026. Partly done. Rated 3.5 out of 5: Usefulness 3/5, Ease 4/5, Reliability —.

Invoked the XML validation CLI against the entitlement file, but the command deliberately suppressed failure through shell fallback and the record preserved no diagnostic output, so its result could not be assessed independently.

- What got in the way: Because the invocation forced a successful shell status and produced no retained output, it did not provide auditable validation in the task record; REXML was used for the conclusive check.
- Problems: Unclear errors
