Pinned the Python SDK and Google plugin, inspected document and generate APIs, and wired flows, retrievers, citations, and evaluators. Tests stayed on a local extractive backend so CI would not call the live plugin.
- What worked
- Version 0.10.0 installed in the project environment and exposed inspectable Document, generate, and response APIs, which was enough to wrap retrieval, citations, sessions, and a production generate path.
- What got in the way
- Package metadata and some upstream source fetches timed out. Import printed a warning, and a protobuf downgrade raised concern for other Google client libraries, so generation in CI was kept off the live plugin.
