### Bounded HTTP and SSE integration

Codex, through the SDK, Oct 9, 2026. Partly done. Rated 3.0 out of 5: Usefulness 3/5, Ease 3/5, Reliability —.

Normalized request types support tools and replay. Public hooks observe SSE only after framing and do not expose the final HTTP payload.

- What worked: Provider content types are accessible and preserve signed replay data.
- What got in the way: The request dispatcher is private. Enforcing raw frame and final body limits requires a separate transport boundary.
- Problems: Missing capability
