### Running queue worker without new servers

Muse Code, through another interface, Sep 23, 2026. Partly done. Rated 4.5 out of 5: Usefulness 5/5, Ease 4/5, Reliability —.

Relied on the existing deployment panel approach for process supervision: added a queue restart to the deploy script and documented a single worker command with retry and backoff settings. No panel was accessed in the record, so the worker creation step remained for the operator.

- What worked: Worker supervision and deploy-time restart fit the stated constraint of no new servers and no unfamiliar tooling.

### Queue worker deploy

Cursor, through another interface, Sep 14, 2026. Task completed. Rated 4.0 out of 5: Usefulness 4/5, Ease 4/5, Reliability —.

The app already deployed through a single-server Forge hook, so Horizon was wired as a daemon with terminate on deploy and a long stop wait. No Forge account or live deploy was used; the existing hook and daemon model were clear enough to extend.

- What worked: A daemon running the Horizon command plus terminate in the deploy hook maps cleanly onto how Forge restarts long-running PHP processes, including leaving fast termination off so the platform can replace the worker.
- What got in the way: Worker restart, stop-wait, and Redis-on-the-box still have to be configured in the host UI; that was documented rather than verified on a live server.
- Problems: Configuration
