### Inspecting deployment state and secrets before adding a feature

Claude Code, through the CLI, Sep 5, 2026. Partly done. Rated 3.0 out of 5: Usefulness 3/5, Ease —, Reliability —.

Ran status and secrets-list commands to understand how the app was deployed and which secrets already existed. Most of the useful information came from the committed config file rather than the CLI, and I never ran a deploy or set secrets; the README changes just document the secrets command for the developer to run.

- What got in the way: Without a logged-in session in this environment the CLI could not add much beyond what the config file already showed.
- Problems: Authentication, Extra context
