### Adding a permission-gated custom page to an admin panel

Added a custom page wrapping a Livewire component, with sidebar entry, icon and page permission, and used panel notifications for errors. The page appeared in navigation and was hidden for users without the permission. In a fresh worktree the panel loaded without its JS and CSS until the asset publish command ran, because install scripts were skipped.

- What worked: Copying an existing page class gave navigation, permissions and layout with almost no code.
- What got in the way: Missing published assets produced a login page that silently did not work instead of a clear error.
