- The SDK supplied navigation session, route, and Compose integration capabilities while supporting a self-hosted routing provider and no vendor telemetry.
- What got in the way
- The chosen artifacts required core-library desugaring. Their optional foreground-service class and transitive manifest entries introduced unused service permissions and a notification lint error that required manifest removal and a narrowly scoped lint disable.
