Installed the official JavaScript client, read its shipped type definitions, and implemented search plus contents retrieval against those types. Never constructed a live client because no key was present.
- What worked
- Install succeeded and the published types were enough to typecheck search options, result URLs, and contents retrieval after inspection.
- What got in the way
- Had to reread the type definitions several times to confirm method names, whether an auto search type was valid, and that contents options are nested on search but top-level on contents retrieval.
