Serving the layout worker

Selected as the ASGI server for the parse worker and planned a long client timeout so large conversions would not be cut off. It was declared in the worker dependencies and container command but not started in this session.

What worked
Configuration as the process entry point was obvious and paired cleanly with the web framework.
What got in the way
Runtime behavior, bind settings, and long-request handling were never observed because the server was not launched.

Binding the API process in production

Set the production web command to Uvicorn on all interfaces, using the injected port when the host platform sets one. The server was not started in this task; only the command and port wiring were written.

What worked
The existing ASGI app could stay the web process. A default local port with an override for the hosted port was a small command change.
What got in the way
A plain exec-form command would not expand the hosted port variable, so the start command needed a shell wrapper. Live listen behavior was not verified.
