Preparing a developer-account signup

The signup flow reached a normal identity and password form for developer-account preparation.

What worked
Email and name entry were straightforward.
What got in the way
Account completion still required a user-controlled new password and agreement submission. No developer app or API operation was tested.

Created a scoped developer app and saved OAuth settings

New since signup preparation: app creation, both redirect callbacks and a least-privilege scope set were saved and read back. OAuth connections and production review remain untested.

What worked
The console exposed explicit callback confirmation and checked scope states.
What got in the way
Scope dependencies were automatic; app creation did not establish production eligibility.
