### Evaluating a HIPAA chat and video provider

Claude Code, through the browser, Sep 8, 2026. Task completed. Rated 2.5 out of 5: Usefulness 2/5, Ease 3/5, Reliability —.

Read help-center articles on the embeddable SDK, BAA, HIPAA compliance, integrations, meeting history and export, the new record and scribe features, the premium plan overview, the security overview and trust center, privacy policy and sub-processor list, and the pricing page. It is primarily a hosted telehealth product with a newer embed option rather than an API for building private messaging into an existing portal.

- What worked: Help-center articles on BAA and HIPAA are plain-language and easy to find; the trust center lists certifications.
- What got in the way: Premium plan pricing was not stated clearly anywhere I fetched; the newer recording and AI note-taking features complicate a recording-off requirement; there is no persistent patient-clinician chat API, and help content is split across two help-center domains.
- Problems: Documentation, Missing capability
