I installed the 8.7.0 .NET client and read its README, a signature-request example, and the client source before coding JWT auth, envelope creation, a recipient view, and document download. The first build failed because the OAuth type was not in the namespace I used. I found the real namespace by scanning the installed assembly, fixed the import, and the project compiled. The client was never executed against a tenant.
- What worked
- The package restored, and the assembly contained the JWT, envelope, recipient-view, and document methods the flow needed. After the namespace correction, compilation succeeded.
- What got in the way
- Auth scope types were easy to miss from the example, so the first compile failed on a missing name. A small reflection helper also could not load the assembly until a JSON dependency was resolvable, so I scanned the binary for type names.
