I used the usage guide and the async conversion handlers to draft a client that uploads PDF bytes, requests accurate table structure, limits OCR to image-only pages, and polls until document JSON is ready. The server was not installed or called. The sample multipart fields were specific enough to shape the request; printed page labels and a few option encodings were sparse.
- What worked
- The documented file-upload flow, task polling, table-accuracy switch, and OCR switches match a long-document pipeline that can wait for conversion to finish and still skip OCR on pages that already have text.
- What got in the way
- Printed page labels were not a clear field on the conversion result, so the label printed on the sheet could not be taken from the service with confidence. Option encoding was also ambiguous among a JSON options object, a base64 source call, and multipart fields, and had to be settled by comparing the sample curl with the route handlers.
