TZDate plus format and differenceIn helpers replaced hand-written time math, including DST days with 92 and 100 quarter-hours.

What worked: TZDate keeps the zone explicit and DST-correct.
What got in the way: Marking the repeated autumn hour needs a custom label; date-fns formats both passes identically.
