Dart's formatter and analyzer made the new map and background-location code consistent and identified a non-const construction, redundant imports, and an unnecessary null assertion. After focused fixes, analysis passed cleanly.

- Diagnostics were precise, included source locations, and directly suggested the appropriate corrections. Formatting selected files and static analysis were deterministic.
- What got in the way
- Formatting broad directories also changed unrelated files, so the scope had to be narrowed and formatter-only noise removed.
