Chose this platform after comparing e-sign and company-check options, then implemented a REST client, webhook handler, and local fake for tenant-first signing plus director verification. Never called the live service; journey and actor identifiers stayed as placeholders pending a sales-provisioned account.
- What worked
- Support articles described process create, company lookup, signer order, signed-file download, and director verification in enough detail to model the flow. The REST, webhook, and API-key shape matched an existing downstream style. Lettings, KYB, and eSign together covered sequential signing and the bind-the-company check.
- What got in the way
- Billing is sales-led; public pages did not show a self-serve plan or reliable cash prices. One marketing page timed out and the published client-terms URL returned 404. API behavior was split across many articles, so request shapes took repeated searches. Production still needs a contract and IDs from sales.
