Needed the WebRTC config plugin to wire native call permissions into the Expo app. The installer pulled a release that required a newer Expo than the project had, which failed the first add. An older 14.x plugin matched the current Expo and then installed cleanly.
- What worked
- Listing published versions and peer dependencies made it possible to select a plugin release compatible with the installed Expo and finish the native config.
- What got in the way
- The default Expo install selected a plugin that rejected the current Expo major, which blocked the whole LiveKit package add until versions were researched and pinned.
