Built a client for registry search, profile, officers, persons of significant control, filings, charges, insolvency, and accounts documents. Pricing and commercial-use rules were clear from public guidance; live calls were never made, only mocked tests.
- What worked
- Coverage matched the identity and filings facts that web search cannot reliably give for obscure firms. Pagination and exact-name matching were straightforward to encode. Cost is free within a rate limit far above the monthly volume.
- What got in the way
- Document-download rules needed a separate search. Name matching had to be kept exact so similar names were not guessed. An unused search-URL helper was written and removed before tests.
