### Calling synchronous speech synthesis

The Python client was installed at the pinned 2.37.0 release and imported to confirm MP3 encoding and the speech client class. Both the index lookup and the install succeeded. Synthesis code targets that client, but tests replace it, so no authenticated synthesize call was made.
