Task completed

Embedded broker with channel history, positioning and recovery worked with the JS SDK getState flow, including reconnects and process restarts.

What worked: Recovery and state-sync primitives, refresh-based credential expiry, and a live hub for exact connection counts.
What got in the way: Built-in node gauges refresh periodically, so they lagged in tests; a rejected connect stops the JS client silently, which needed explicit handling.
