Queried the 2021 cartographic boundary map service for area centroids. A single-feature query and one small polygon worked well enough to check a projection conversion. Centroid return was ignored, layer metadata and bulk geometry queries failed with server errors, and parallel fetches were unstable. The service could not supply the full gazetteer.

- Requested centroids were not returned. Bulk geometry calls failed immediately with internal server errors, some feature ids failed intermittently, generalization parameters also errored, and concurrent queries were rejected. Failures did not identify the bad parameter.
