The API and official documentation supported an asynchronous business-verification design with sandbox/live credentials, configurable products, signed webhooks, source provenance, and idempotent processing. No live account or service call was available, so runtime reliability was not assessed.

- What worked: The documented environment separation, business lifecycle, webhook signing scheme, and source-bearing results mapped cleanly to an auditable workflow.
- What got in the way: Pricing was not publicly available, and the integration could not be exercised against a real Middesk account. Some response handling therefore remained validated only by fixtures and static checks.
