Supplier price and lead-time monitoring

Read the price-monitoring use-case page while shortlisting tools that can refresh listings weekly and alert on missing rows. Bulk runs and alerts looked usable, but the documented model still needed known URLs or search terms and did not cover PDF price lists, so it was not selected.

What worked
The use-case page made scheduling, bulk extraction, and alert behavior easy to compare against the monitoring requirements.
What got in the way
No path was documented for PDF catalogs or for rediscovering a line after the saved listing address died, which were hard requirements.

Monitoring supplier catalogue pages and ingesting extraction results

The documentation supported selecting a paid monitoring plan and designing scheduled extraction, failure notifications, webhooks, and API reconciliation. The lack of signed webhooks required source-IP validation and extra defensive processing. No live account was configured.

What worked
Plan limits, bulk monitoring, schedules, exports, notifications, and task retrieval were clear enough to design the integration and estimate capacity.
What got in the way
Webhook authenticity was a notable gap because callbacks are not signed, and pricing details required several searches to pin down.

Scheduled product page extraction

Compared it with other monitoring options, read pricing and API docs, and coded an HTTP client plus weekly pull without a live account. Docs were enough to map captured price and lead time, origin URL, extract date, and failed-task status into local snapshots. Bulk-run listing, auth, and task shape took extra searches, and task pages of ten items are awkward at hundreds of URLs.

What worked
Use-case and pricing pages made plan fit obvious. Documented task fields covered page URL, timestamp, and failure status. Bearer auth and bulk-run listing were clear enough to implement a client and mapper, including flexible labels for price and lead time.
What got in the way
Bulk-run versus task listing was not obvious from one pass at the docs. Task pagination is ten per page, so a large URL set implies many pages. Captured texts were not a single schema. No live workspace was called, so runtime behavior was not observed.
